Kids in preschool to sixth grade are invited to join the Two Harbors Public Library’s summer reading program. Starting Friday, stop by the library to sign up and get a welcome packet.
For every five books read during the program, kids get a prize and are entered in the drawings to be held Aug. 12.
Throughout the summer there will be crafts, activities, and entertainers. There will also be four grand prizes.
Every week during the summer there will be a activity table set up at the library.
There will be supplies and directions for making a simple craft or an activity. Just stop by the library any time during that week.
The third Wednesday each month, storytime for children ages 2-6, 2:30-3 p.m., with special reader Benji the Bookworm.
On Monday, Henry Cole, author/illustrator, will have a program at 2 p.m.
At 4:30 p.m. July 29, the Schiffelly Puppets perform.
There will also be movies held at the library throughout the summer.
At 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, the library will be hosting the Zoomobile.
