James Victor Larson, 80, Two Harbors, died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at home. Jim was born March 24, 1930, to Axel and Helen (Hanson) Larson in Duluth.

James Victor Larson, 80, Two Harbors, died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at home.

Jim was born March 24, 1930, to Axel and Helen (Hanson) Larson in Duluth. He grew up in Two Harbors and graduated from Two Harbors High School in 1948. Jim served in the U.S. Air Force for 18 years, and was a veteran of the Korean War.

He married Dottie Moxham in Eulis, Texas, where they made their home for many years. Jim was employed as an electronics technician for defense con- tractors and NASA, includ- ing the Apollo project, until retiring in 1998.

After Dottie’s death in 2000, he returned to Two Harbors. Jim was a member of the American Legion, Loyal Order of Moose and the VFW.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing as a young man, and loved visiting with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Jim was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ray and Philip Larson; and sisters, Jeanette Radtke, and Lois Coleman.

He is survived by a sister, Harriet Carroll of Duluth; stepson, Lucky Lucero of Texas; step-grandsons, Ronnie and Donnie Lucero of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

There was a service Thursday at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
