Monday, April 5

Inmate population: 19

- 8:31 a.m. Deputy assists police with vehicle accident on Highway 61 at Scenic Drive. No injuries.

- 8:40 Deputy takes report of theft of “no trespassing” signs from rural Two Harbors property.

- 12:46 p.m. Deputies, Two Harbors ambulance and fire, and Silver Bay fire respond to structure and grass fire on Highway 3. No reported injuries.

- 6:28 Deputy responds to report of damage to vehicle on Gun Club Road.

Tuesday, April 6

Inmate population: 18

- 2 a.m. Deputy traffic stop on Highway 61 at Scenic Drive. Warning for headlight out.

- 12:08 p.m. Deputy responds to report of possible assault at rural Two Harbors residence.

- 1:53 Deputy responds to request to be present at organization meeting in Finland.

- 7:26 Deputy traffic stop on Highway 61 at Old Highway 61. Warning for speed.

- 11:12 Deputy traffic stop on Outer Drive at Highway 61. Warning for equipment violation.

- 11:35 Deputy, police respond to report of suspicious vehicle at Silver Bay Marina. Citation for no proof of insurance.

- 5:52 a.m. Deputies, Silver Bay police, county rescue teams respond to report of missing person’s car found at Palisade Head. Body found at bottom of cliff.

- 11:48 Deputy transports two inmates to St. Cloud and returns with another.

- 11:59 Deputy finds signs on Fernberg Road and Thirteen Corners shot with orange paintballs.

- 12:31 p.m. Deputy responds to report of Beaver Bay resident with fox in a trap.

- 1:24 Deputy assists police with report of possible burglary at Two Harbors residence.

- 4:16 Two Harbors fire responds to request to check on detector at rural Two Harbors residence.

- 7:38 Deputy traffic stop on Highway 61 at Superior Shores. Warning for speed.

- 3 p.m. Deputy traffic stop on Fernberg Road near Madden Lake Trail. Warning for speed.

- 9:15 Deputy assists Silver Bay police with traffic stop of ATVs. One driver brought to county jail.

- 9:16 Deputy traffic stop on Highway 61 at Gooseberry River. Warning for improper pass. Driver has warrant. Deputy receives cash for bail and advises driver to report to Scott County Jail.

- 10:01 Deputy responds to report of loud party at Manning Creek gravel pit near Ely.

Saturday, April 10

Inmate population: 20

- 3:11 a.m. Deputy checks in suspicious vehicle at Gooseberry Falls State Park. Using rest area.

- 9:26 Deputies assists police with removal of unwanted person from rental property in Two Harbors.

- 3:39 p.m. Deputies, police assist State Patrol with possible drunken driver headed north on Highway 61.

Sunday, April 11

Inmate population: 19

- 12:19 a.m. Deputies, police respond to request to search for possible missing person. Later cancelled.

- 2:10 Deputy assists Babbitt police with fleeing person.

- 1:16 p.m. Ambulance requested at Gooseberry Falls State Park. One transported to Lake View Memorial Hospital.

- 5:29 Deputy traffic stop on Highway 2 at Christianson Lake Road. Citation for speed (77/55).

- 6:57 Deputy checks on people on Highway 61 near Salakka Road. Picking up trash for Adopt-A-Highway.

- 7:18 Deputy traffic stop on Highway 61 at Gate 4 Road. Warning for speed.
