Events
- Storytime begins at 2 p.m. Saturday for kids age 2-6. Take a half-hour to enjoy books and the library with stories, songs, and fingerplays.
- The Two Harbors Library Book Group will meet at 1:30 p.m. Thursday (March 18) to discuss “Animal, Vegetable, Miracle” by Barbara Kingsolver. It is the 2010 book for “One Book, One Community,” a project of the Duluth Public Library and many partners, including the Arrowhead Library System, to generate thoughtful discussion. It is the story of what happened when Barbara Kingsolver and her family decided to try a year of eating only food that was grown locally.
- The last day to bring in entries for the Winter Reading Programs is next Friday (March 19). For children, the prizes are a rock set for young fossil hunters and a tools set for pretend build-ers. For adults and students, the prizes are gift certificates donated by Rustic Inn Cafe and Do North Pizza, and great mugs for second prizes
