A semitrailer wound up in a ditch Wednesday afternoon just south of the Cook County line in Lake County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The 65-year-old driver from Ontario reportedly was heading south on state Highway 61 about 4 p.m. when he swerved and drove into the ditch. The semi landed on its side and part of the load — rolls of paper — spilled out.
The driver was taken to Lake View Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries, the State Patrol said. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
