Chris Olafson-Langenbrunner is your local connection to the Winter Olympics.

The Lake Superior School District Community Education director is in Vancouver this month to watch her stepson, Jamie Langenbrunner, play for the Team USA hockey team.

Chris will send us dispatches and photos when she can and we will post them in the comments section here. You can participate as well by leaving comments or asking questions.

The best way to begin our blog is to thank everyone for their good wishes & support in regards to Jamie and the team.

Of special note are the handmade cards and posters from the fourth graders at Two Harbors Minnehaha Elementary School. Wow! They are awesome! We will see that they get to Vancouver for you.
