Mollie Holmes and Daniel Viola of Shakopee have announced their engagement.

Mollie is the daughter of Robert and Wendy Holmes of Waldorf. Dan is the son of Chris and Nancy Viola of Silver Bay. Mollie is a 2002 graduate of Mankato East High School and a 2005 graduate of Minnesota State University-Mankato, where she received a degree in accounting. She is employed as a senior accountant with Baker Tilly Virchow Krause.

Dan is a 2001 graduate of William Kelley High School and a 2005 graduate of Bemidji State University, where he received a degree in sports management. He is employed as an accountant with AmeriPride Services. The wedding is set for Sept. 18.
