- 11:43 a.m. Two Harbors Fire Department responds to report of filter fire at TH Machine Shop.

- 12:26 p.m. Deputy traffic stop on Highway 2 at East Alger Grade. Warn for speed.

- 2:21 Deputy takes report of threats made at county property.

- 3:09 Ambulance requested at 7th Avenue Clip Joint. Two Harbors ambulance responds and transports one to Lake View Memorial Hospital.

- 4:39 Deputy takes report of shoplifting at Beaver Bay business.

- 5:53 Deputy transports inmate to Becker County Jail.

- 11:28 Deputy makes traffic stop on Kawishiwi Trail near Thirteen Corners. Warning for taillight and driving conduct.

Tuesday, Jan. 5

- 9:16 a.m. Lake View requests patient transport. Two Harbors ambulance responds and transports one to St. Mary’s-Duluth Clinic.

- 9:24 Deputy takes one squad to be worked on in Superior and returns with another squad.

- 3:30 p.m. Deputy assists Two Harbors police with juvenile issue investigation.

- 10:04 Deputy responds to motor vehicle accident with deer on Highway 61 south of Gooseberry.

Wednesday, Jan. 6

- 2:38 a.m. Deputy assists Two Harbors police with removal of unwanted person from Two Harbors residence.

- 5:30 Deputy checks on logging truck on side of Wales Road. Driver waiting for a part.

- 8:45 Deputy makes traffic stop on Highway 2 near Grimmer Road. Warning for speed.

- 8:52 Deputy responds to report of vehicle in ditch on Highway 3 near Clark Road. No occupants.

- 8:56 Deputy makes traffic stop on Highway 61 near Loggers Trail. Warning for speed.

- 3:31 Ambulance requested at Zups in Silver Bay. Silver Bay ambulance responds and transports one to Lake View.

- 8:46 Deputies respond to alarm at residence in Isabella area.

- 10:22 Deputy takes report of theft from vehicle at Grand Superior Lodge.

- 1:39 p.m. Finland Fire Department responds to report of large campfire on beach off Highway 61 at Beaver River Bridge.

- 6:26 Deputy traffic stop on Highway 61 near Nester Grade. Warn for driving conduct.

- 6:28 Deputy responds to request to attempt to locate overdue BWCA campers. Family heard from campers.

- 8:21 Deputies and Two Harbors police respond to report of possible drunk driver on Highway 61. Unable to locate.

Saturday, Jan. 9

Inmate Population: 10

- 1:30 a.m. Deputy responds to domestic incident at Knife River residence. One arrested and brought to Lake County Jail.

- 5:15 Deputies assist Two Harbors police with report of fight at AmericInn pool.

- 8:58 Deputy advised the Department of Natural Resources will be conducting a moose count by helicopter in BWCA area.

- 5:58 p.m. Deputy advised that vehicle drove off from Holiday with pump handle still attached to vehicle.

- 6:33 Ambulance requested at Two Harbors residence. Two Harbors ambulance responds and transports one to Lake View.

- 9:21 Deputy makes traffic stop on Highway 61 at Split Rock Lighthouse. Citation issued for speed (71/55).

Sunday, Jan. 10

Inmate Population: 10

- 12:56 a.m. Deputy assists Ely Police Department with family disturbance.

- 1:56 Lake View requests patient transport. Two Harbors ambulance responds and transports one back to Sunrise.

- 2:01 Deputy gives walking intoxicated party a ride home to Ely.

- 9:39 Deputy makes traffic stop on Glipi Road at Fernberg Road. Warning for driving conduct.

- 10:38 Deputy responds to report of unoccupied snowmobile crashed into tree at rural Two Harbors residence. Owner will remove.

- 4:49 p.m. Deputy makes traffic stop on Fernberg Road at Kawishiwi Lodge. Warning for headlamp.

- 6:44 Deputy responds to report of vehicle rollover in median at Two Harbors Ford. Tow called. No injuries.

- 6:55 Deputies, Finland Fire Department, Finland Rescue Squad and Silver Bay ambulance respond to report of vehicle accident on Little Marais Road at Baptism River. One transported to Lake View.
