Winter Frolic plans outlined
It’s definitely winter out there, which means it’s time to think about the February Winter Frolic in Two Harbors.
It’s definitely winter out there, which means it’s time to think about the February Winter Frolic in Two Harbors.
A tentative schedule has been released and it shows that events will kick off Feb. 4 with the coronation of Miss Winter Frolic at a basketball game at Two Harbors High School. Snow sculptures will be on display by that Thursday at Thomas Owens Park on Waterfront Drive.
Other events going into Sunday include: sliding hill, chili cookoff, parade, scavenger hunt, breakfasts, boot hockey, ski race, snowmobile show, bon fires, sleigh rides, sled dogs, races, and a finale Saturday night with the Snow Ball family dance at the high school.
