Michael J. Bailey of Duluth died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009. He was born Feb. 10, 1980, to Philip and Doreen (Deschampe) Bailey of Duluth.
Michael J. Bailey of Duluth died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009. He was born Feb. 10, 1980, to Philip and Doreen (Deschampe) Bailey of Duluth. He grew up in Duluth, Foxboro, Wis., Superior, and Two Harbors – where he graduated from high school in 1999.
He worked in logging, in the woods, where he loved to be, for Koski Logging. He also worked as a cook.
He married the love of his life, Christina Schroeder, March 3, 2007.
Mike loved being outdoors, fishing, watching movies, cooking for family, helping others in need any way he could, and, most of all, spending time with the family and friends he loved so much.
Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell Bailey and Gloria Bailey, grandfather Theodore Deschampe, and nephew JaDarius McClendon. He is survived by his wife, son Isaiah Bailey, daughter Autumn Bailey Everett, step- children Brandon and Taylor Bailey, parents Phillip (Sandy) Bailey and Doreen Bailey, sisters Tory (Randy) Hayes, Melanie (Vinny) Bailey, Melinda Bailey, Michelle (Fernando) Rodriguez, Ricki Leigh Bailey, Allison Bailey, and brothers Bradley Deschampe and Russell Bailey, nieces and nephews Bailey and Darcey Hayes, Xavier McClendon, Ellijah Rodriguez and Logan Schroeder, mother and father in-law Lori and Rob Schroeder, brother-in-law Jake Schroeder, and several aunts, uncles and cousins who meant so much to him.
Michael will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Visitation was Wednesday at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors.
