Mariners volleyball loses again

The Silver Bay Mariners volleyball team lost its match this week to Duluth Marshall 3-1.
“In the first game we did as well as we could do,” said head coach Andrea McMillen, adding the team somewhat fell apart after the first match and team communication dried up.
McMillen also pointed recent illnesses on the team as other reasons for the team’s recent slump.
Kirstin Sandstrom had eight kills and seven digs in the match and Taylor Guzzo had four kills and eight digs.
McMillen theorized the team could have a home playoff game Monday.
