The Agates boy’s soccer team’s regular season ended in exciting fashion, even though they were on the short-end of the stick.

On Monday, the Proctor Rails topped Two Harbors 1-0 in double overtime.

The game was tight throughout with the Rails’ Donovan DeBartolo punching one in at the 83-minute mark on a penalty kick in the first overtime.

The Agates’ Andy Kragseth was solid in goal with 11 saves.

Next up for No. 10 Two Harbors (5-10) was at No. 7 Grand Rapids (6-8-1) in the first round of the section playoffs at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Last week, the Agates fell to Grand Rapids 4-1.
