School band part of holiday benefit CD
With the help of some Two Harbors musicians, “A Christmas by the Lake Volume II” raised nearly $2,000 for the Northern Lights Foundation last year.
With the help of some Two Harbors musicians, “A Christmas by the Lake Volume II” raised nearly $2,000 for the Northern Lights Foundation last year. Today, songs are being ac-cepted for consideration to be included on the 2009 version of the home-grown music compilation. The deadline to submit is today.
Last year’s CD included the work of the Two Harbors High School jazz band along with music from students at Duluth Denfeld and Hermantown. They will be on the third annual CD as well. “We are open to all types of music, we’ll consider any quality performance that fit’s the theme of the CD,” Lundeen said. The CD will be available at all Super One Foods locations beginning in mid-November.
