The Petrell Hall Centennial Committee is having its annual Labor Day weekend pancake breakfast fundraiser and program. Pancakes will be served from 8 – 11 a.m. This year’s celebration includes a silent auction, bake sale and raffle of a beautiful autumn pattern hand-quilted quilt, a complete Granite Gear Stratus Latitude back pack and a $100 gas card.

Sons of Norway Terje Viken Lodge #017 is having its annual Split Rock Picnic at Split Rock State Park. The festivities are from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. We have invited the Vasa Lodge; approximately 28 members will be joining us. We are expecting good weather and good music furnished by the Old Timers. This is a potluck but the lodge is providing hot dogs and brats – cook your own. Bring a dish to share, folding chairs and spits or baskets to cook your dogs or brats. If you need a ride call 834-9268.
Caregiver Sharing Group meets the second Wednesday of every month, 1 – 2:30 p.m. at the United Protestant Church, Silver Bay. This group is run through Northshore Area Partners, a non-profit living at home/block program working with elders to keep them in their homes.
Harbor Center, 111 Waterfront Drive, Two Harbors is an adult drop in center providing coffee and activities plus. Open Mon., Tues., Thurs. and Sat. 12:30 – 4:30 p.m. with a monthly meeting on the third Monday at 1 p.m.
