Lake County Fair update

The Lake County Fair is only two weeks away.

Wow, time is flying by.

Gopher State Expositions has sent a list of rides that include: Dragon Wagon Roller Coaster, giant slide, ferris wheel, Zipper, Sizzler, Berry Go ‘Round, carousel, Raiders Playground, Pirates Revenge and a few others, food and 12 games.

When you get to the fair, check with the midway about wristband specials. There should be something for everyone. We hope that everyone in Lake County comes and enjoys.

Entertainment on Friday night in the Commercial Building will be Lake Effect, a local high school band. Saturday night is Stubborn Country and Sunday will be Paul Christian.

There are ads in the Lake County News Chronicle about the contests and events that will be taking place all three days of the fair. The particulars about the contests are also on the Web site: www.thelakecountyfair.com and in the premium book. We hope you try one or all the contests.

For the teens, there will be a Guitar Hero contest on Friday night. We have been keeping a secret about the drawings. At the end of the night, the grand prize will be a Wii system and a Guitar Hero game. All teens are eligible for this prize.

There are still a few things that we are finalizing to make your Lake County Fair, a great event for everyone.
