Nominate a senior volunteer of the year

Nominations from county residents are now being sought for the 2009 Outstanding Senior Volunteer Award for Lake County. Nominate an active senior volunteer 70 years and older by entering him or her in county competition.

This award recognizes the vital role of volunteers in communities across Minnesota. Volunteers carry out the mission of providing programs and services that older adults need to maintain their independence. The senior volunteers will be honored at the Lake County “Senior Day” at the fair on Friday, Aug. 14 at 12 p.m.
