Klobuchar visits area

U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar visited the Two Harbors business Granite Gear Tuesday to discuss economic development and rural health care issues.
She also visited Grand Marais the same day.
At Granite Gear Klobuchar was shown a military pack they are creating for Special Operations Forces, such as the Green Berets, the Army Rangers and the Navy Seals.
Earlier this year, Granite Gear was awarded a five-year contract to develop and manufacture up to 45,000 chief patrol backpacks for soldiers.
