Agates baseball season ends in playoffs

The Two Harbors baseball team's season ended Tuesday with a 2-0 loss to Esko in the Section 7AA Final Four (which is double elimination).
Joel Wuorio took the loss striking out six, allowing five hits. He also had two hits in the game.
The Agates had three inning-ending double plays during the game.
To get to that point the Agates defeated Rush City last week in the first round 9-1. Matt Bruley got the win striking out three allowing four hits. He also went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Matt Jacob also contributed two RBIs to the offensive cause.
In the second round the Agates took care of Virginia 3-1. Wuorio got the win striking out four. Bruley went 2-for-3 with a double and Erik Magnuson added two hits of his own.
In the first Final Four game for the Agates, they lost 11-1 in five innings to Mora, which led to the showdown with Esko Tuesday.
