Holly Henry has been named editor of the Lake County News-Chronicle. Henry has served as interim editor for the last two weeks. She joined the company in 2007 as editor of Living North Magazine. She will continue to hold both positions, as well as oversee the Chronicle's Web site twoharborsmn.com.
Prior to joining the company she served as executive director of a chamber of commerce and earlier as a feature writer, columnist and copy editor at the Sawyer County Record in Hayward, Wis. She also worked for a number of years at newspapers in Australia and as a media adviser to a member of parliament.
"But my true passion has always been community newspapers, and I am very much looking forward to getting involved in the Two Harbors community," Henry said. "This is a privilege and responsibility I will not take lightly."
