Opposes Johnson's firing
I want to express my opposition to the firing of Forrest Johnson. The “Chronicle” has never been as interesting as it has been during his editorship.
To the Editor:
I want to express my opposition to the firing of Forrest Johnson. The “Chronicle” has never been as interesting as it has been during his editorship. I have lived in Two Harbors all my life, am now 95 years old, and have been a faithful reader of the “Chronicle” all my adult life.
I respect Forrest Johnson for the way he handled the news of our city and believe his firing was unfair and unnecessary. The future of the “Chronicle” which we count on for local news is now at stake.
