Loss of editor tragic

Dear New Editor,
It was tragic that a nameless, faceless person cut down the honking tree. But, what’s worse is now a corporate suit came up and mowed down our own beloved Forrest for no good reason, except the perceived sense of “progress." Well, good luck with that boys and pretty much b-bye Chronicle flavor we knew and loved. Get out of the way of progress though at all costs.
You will be dearly missed Forrest and I hope this turns out the best for you in the long run. You sure gave us lots of pure enjoyment over the years.
Bon Voyage, Forrest-Era Chronicle.
