The trial of the last of three defendants accused of taking part in a Congdon Park home invasion has been rescheduled for June 23-26 in St. Louis County District Court.
Ian Guzzo, 20, of Two Harbors is charged with two counts of aiding and abetting first-degree burglary and one count of aiding and abetting kidnapping. He’s accused of drawing a floor plan that helped two other men rob a home, tie up a mother and her son and threaten them at gunpoint in August 2007.
The trial was postponed last week after legal arguments about whether one of Guzzo’s co-defendants can testify in his trial. Judge Shaun Floerke told the parties to submit legal arguments in support of their positions regarding whether the man who orchestrated the crimes should be permitted to testify.
