Two Harbors man acquitted of assault, threats
A Two Harbors man who was charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and with making terroristic threats was acquitted by a St. Louis County jury.
Justin Marcus Rosendahl, 22, stood trial last week in connection with an incident that took place on April 30 on the Homestead Road in rural Duluth. He was accused of shooting a round in the air during a dispute with another man.
The three-day trial ended Thursday with the jury finding Rosendahl not guilty of both charges against him. The defendant was represented by Duluth attorney Robert Mathias.
Rosendahl has another jury trial scheduled for July 13 involving two separate cases of alleged assault, burglary, receiving stolen property and other charges.
