Silver Bay attorney reprimanded
A Silver Bay attorney has been publicly reprimanded and placed on probation for alleged acts of misconduct that include lying to a court.
Patrick Dinneen was handed the penalty by the Minnesota Supreme Court last Wednesday, after he admitted to charges that he represented clients with conflicting interests in the same litigation, filed an unsigned affidavit without his client’s consent and knowingly gave a false statement in court. The charges originated in a petition filed by the Minnesota Lawyers Responsibility Board.
Dinneen paid $900 in damages and will be on supervised probation for two years.
