Silver Bay Public Library News

It's hard to believe that again the time has come when many of us are fretting about what to get those special people on our Christmas lists. As we go through this annual ritual we sometimes wonder: "Is it worth it?" Maybe this year you could consider a gift to your local library.  Do you have any idea how many people your gift has the potential to reach? Literally, tens of thousands. That means you are absolutely assured to please someone. Whether your gift is a financial contribution, new books, lightly used or new dvds, a gift to your library is a gift to your community ... and beyond. If you would like your gift to stay absolutely local, things like computer accessories, quiet games, craft items and toys - even such items as hand sanitizers and lotions can be of great benefit. We'll guarantee many happy returns.

Another way to help your library is by ordering your Christmas gift books through the Friends of the Library. You will receive a 10 percent discount on the retail price, with any profits going to the Friends. Be sure to order early.  Just call the library for more information. 218-226-4331
