No water contact recommended for Two Harbors beach
People should avoid contact with the water at Agate Bay Beach in Two Harbors, the Minnesota Department of Health advises.
Water samples collected Monday had elevated levels of E. coli bacteria indicating possible fecal contamination. The beach is scheduled to be re-sampled today.
Anyone who becomes ill after contact with beach water is asked to contact the Minnesota Department of Health at (877) 366-3455.
