Victory and peace and a North Shore Christmas

0 Talk about it

An Arrowhead Christmas for our boys returning

From battle to a peaceful white Christmas

Next year or some year not too far distant.

May they find in our little city

The rest and solace, for which they’ve been longing,

The work that will stamp out the battle,

The love that will erase all the hatred of conflict,

The healing and comfort that will bind up their wounds,

The old time religion that will guide all their lives

To the peace that passeth all understanding.

Some other white Christmas

Some other white morn

So their America will be America again

So Christmas time be Christmas again

All over the world.
