Lake View CEO honored
On Tuesday, the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST honored Jo Ann Hoag, president and CEO of Lake View hospital and clinic and St. Luke’s Vice President of Regional Development, along with 34 other women leaders from across the state. These women are being honored for their leadership excellence in the health care industry.
With St. Luke’s for 39 years, Hoag has been a vice president since 1997, overseeing collaborative regional activities and legislative initiatives to enhance regional health care. She became interim president/CEO of Lake View hospital and clinic in Two Harbors in 2012 and was named officially to that position in 2013. Lake View is a member of St. Luke’s health system.
Hoag has served on more than 20 boards and currently chairs the Health Share and Kitchi Gammi Club boards, and is a member of the Wilderness Health Collaborative Executive Committee and Apex. Hoag received her registered nurse diploma from St. Luke’s School of Nursing, a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, and her master’s degree from the College of St. Scholastica. She is a 1998 graduate of Leadership Duluth.
