Lake County marchers make money for munchkins

Employees of Lake View Memorial Hospital donned their sneakers and matching t-shirts for the March of Dimes March for Babies Saturday, April 27, in Duluth.

The group of 14 adults and two children set a lofty fundraising goal for itself and exceeded its expectations, said LVMH's march organizer, Terri McDannold, director of radiology, materials, maintenance and housekeeping.

"Our goal was $1,000 and we raised $1,501," she reported.
