Gladys Louise Waggoner
Gladys Louise Waggoner, of Silver Bay passed away peacefully on May 18, 2014, at the age of 87 surrounded by her loving family.
Gladys was born and raised in Crookston, moved to Minneapolis and raised her family. She worked for the school system and later moved to Isabella where her and Lee became owners of the Knotted Pine Inn which they kept for 19 years before retiring to Silver Bay.
Gladys love of gardening and nature was reflected in her home where all were welcomed. She will always be remembered for her kindness and the love people felt when in her company.
She is survived by her loving husband, Lee, of 47 years; five children, Denny (Janet) Vanseth, Lynda Stein, Randy (Barb) Vanseth, Pam (Marty) Hartfiel, Scott (Kathy) Vanseth; two step-sons, David (Karen) Waggoner and Dana (Kathy) Waggoner; 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She will also be missed by many from Duluth Seventh-Day Adventist Church where she was actively involved.
Memorial service will be held July 20, 2014 at 2 p.m., Duluth Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 3210 Decker Road, Duluth, MN 55811.
