Enbridge Energy Partners LLC supports Just Kids Dental
Just Kids Dental, a Two Harbors-based non-profit delivering basic preventative oral health services, including oral health education to children at schools across the Northland, has received a grant from Enbridge Energy in the amount of $5000.
"We are excited to announce we have received a $5,000 grant from Enbridge Energy," said Stacey Anderson, Just Kids Dental executive director. "With support from community partners like Enbridge, we're able to meet the increasing demand for our services."
JKD sets up onsite clinics at schools, making it possible for children to receive needed preventative oral health services and eliminating some of the access barriers faced by many low income families. JKD serves several counties in northern Minnesota and Douglas County, Wisconsin. Enbridge Energy Partners is the latest in a growing list of donors who have recognized the need for JKD's services.
"We are pleased to support an organization that provides such an important service as well as education for under-insured or uninsured children in the Superior community," says Lorraine Little, Senior Manager, U.S. Public Affairs, Enbridge. "Our support of Just Kids Dental is an example of how Enbridge is working to make the communities where our employees live and work better places to live."
